Reason #6 Why DC Rules: Old Ebbit Grill

From their website:

"Old Ebbitt Grill is just steps from The White House and museums in downtown Washington. Established in 1856, it was a favorite of Presidents Grant, Cleveland, Harding and Theodore Roosevelt and is still a popular meeting spot for political insiders, journalists, celebrities and theater-goers."

Personally I am not a huge fan of Old Ebbit myself. That being said, it is definitely one of more historical restaurants we have in the city, and I believe it deserves it props. When you visit, say hello to Tommy the bartender and be sure to try the out their famous oyster bar.
