Second Request Alert: T Mobile/Sprint merger would make AT&T/SBC merger look like...well AT&T/SBC would still look pretty awesome comparatively

For those of you that don't know T Mobile is actually Deutsche Telekom. They call it T Mobile in the States because only 3 percent of Americans can pronounce the word Deutsche, and they purposely misspell "Telekom" to mess with our heads. No actually telekom is not an English word. It is from some other language that no one here cares about because it is not English so why bother.
With that as an introduction, we are still pretty far from this, but overall this is a good sign of things to come.
From Reuters, props again to David Johnstone:

Deutsche Telekom AG's major shareholder, the German state, is pressing it to make large acquisitions in the hope of raising its sagging share price, a source familiar with the government's thinking said.
"Berlin is very clearly on an expansion course and is putting pressure on Deutsche Telekom," the source told Reuters on Monday, as speculation swirled the German company could bid for U.S. wireless phone company Sprint Nextel (S.N).
